How do I find out if my community has a Volunteer Centre:

You can access Volunteer Canada’s Volunteer Centre Directory by clicking HERE. On this site you can narrow down your search to the province of your choice, and you can view the map for a visual look on each centre’s location.

When you find a Volunteer Centre near you, go ahead and look up their website by clicking on the name of the centre. You can look up volunteer opportunities and other helpful information on their site.

You can also phone them if you wish — just find “Contact” on their website — the phone number should be listed. Or scroll to the bottom of their home page, the phone number should be listed there.

A service offered by Volunteer Toronto (Toronto’s Volunteer Centre) is to book an appointment with a Volunteer Advisor! You can call 416-961-6888 ext. 232 or email advisors@volunteertoronto.ca.

Other Volunteer Centres across the country may provide a similar service.
